Get Shucked is locally owned and operated by young entrepeneur Joe Bennett with the support of his partner Nicole at Great Bay Bruny Island. In 2004 the farm was purchased as a barely going concern and Get Shucked was created. Now established as a well known business offering a unique brand promoting the nutritional and health benefits of this pure product and the pleasurable experience derived by eating our oysters. Get Shucked employs 3 full time staff and some seasonal workers. Joe has actively pursued branding opportunity and as a result been involved with the following.

Vision
Get Shucked has a vision to increase the number of oysters consumed by Australian's. We aim to do this by making fresh quality oysters more readily available to the public.
FACT Currently Australians consume 6 oysters per person per year. If Get Shucked can help increase this to 12 oysters per person per year then the skys the limit! EAT UP!
